Illinois Rural Political Strategist

I have taken my experience in politics, media, and public relations on the road. Across Illinois, I work with rural democratic parties, political organizations, and campaigns with messaging and engagement specifically targeting their community needs. I have successfully helped small political organizations set up phonebanking, canvassing, and consistent media services.

Illinois Healing-Centered Task Force

In January, 2024, I was appointed by Lieutenant Governor Juliana Stratton to represent the young people of the State of Illinois on a task force of policy writers, mental health professionals, and Illinois legislators, of which I was the youngest member. I was subsequently appointed to Chair the Policy Subcommittee, where I led a team of policy professionals in developing standards for mental health and trauma-informed care in the state over the following decade.

PBS News Student Reporting Labs

I served on the first-ever PBS News student advisory team, developing journalism-based prompts for engaging high school journalists producing stories for PBS News. I also took a lead role in advising on stories relating to Generation Z, including the award-winning podcast On Our Minds, and the award-winning student-produced documentary, Run, Hide, Fight, Growing Up Under the Gun.

Students Demand Action

I served for Students Demand Action as the coordinator for Central-Southern Illinois chapter recruitment. I was tasked with the recruitment, support, and development of new chapters in the area, and successfully recruited dozens of students and tripled the existing number of chapters.

Youth Board Member,

Lurie Children's Hospital

As a youth board member, I worked with youth across Illinois to develop policy recommendations to State Senator Mike Simmons in youth civic engagement, mental healthcare, and the development of youth programs in Illinois. These recommendations were sponsored by Lurie Children's Hospital.
